This
is the 7th Quarterly Environmental Monitoring and Audit (EM&A) Report prepared by Cinotech Consultants Limited for the “Agreement No. CE 59/2015 (EP) Environmental Team for Tseung
Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel – Design and Construction” (hereinafter called “the Project”). This summary report presents the EM&A works
performed in the period from May to July 2018.
2.
During the reporting quarter, the following works
contracts were undertaken within the site:

Contract No. NE/2015/01 – Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin
Tunnel – Main Tunnel and Associated Works; and
·
Contract No. NE/2015/02 – Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel – Road P2 and Associated
Works.
·
Contract No. NE/2015/03 – Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel – Northern Footbridge.
·
Contract No. NE/2017/01 – Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel – Tseung
Kwan O Interchange and Associated Works.
·
Contract No. NE/2017/02 – Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel – Road P2/D4 and Associated
Works.

Environmental
monitoring for the Project was performed in accordance with the EM&A Manual and the monitoring
results were checked
and reviewed. Site Inspections/Audits were conducted once per
week. The implementation of the
environmental mitigation measures, Event Action Plans and environmental
complaint handling procedures were also checked.
4. Summary of the non-compliance in
the reporting quarter for the Project is tabulated in Table I. Details of the environmental monitoring results is
presented in Section 3.
